Some studies show no amount of alcohol is good for your heart, drinking alcohol lower your chances of having a heart attack and drinking alcohol increase your chances of having a heart attack. Study 1 – Drinking 50 grams of alcohol per day increase your chances of having a heart attack by 70%. Drinking 100 grams of alcohol per day increase your chances of having a heart attack by 250%. (A 5-ounce serving of wine = 14 grams of alcohol) Study 2 – Drinking 6-8 grams of alcohol per day lower your chances of having a heart attack by 27%-50%.

- Loneliness: Studies show being lonely can increase your chances of having a heart attack by 29% compared to people who aren’t lonely.
- Skipping Breakfast: Studies show that people who skip breakfast are 87% more likely to have a heart attack compared to the people that eat breakfast daily.
- Smoking Weed: Studies show that adults younger than 45yrs old who use cannabis are 2x more likely to have a heart attack compared to non-smokers.
